Polymer Technology Group Eindhoven BV
Use scientific knowledge for improving existing products and/or developing products, applications and materials. That’s the mission statement of Polymer Technology Group Eindhoven BV (PTG/e). Furthermore PTG/e supports production, analysis and characterization. PTG/e is working for both multinationals and SMEs.
In October 2004 PTG/e started as 100% subsidiary of the TU/e Holding BV. This assures complete independent operation of PTG/e on the TU/e campus.
By close cooperation with the capacity group Polymer Technology (Prof. Dr. Piet J. Lemstra) of the faculty Chemistry & Chemical Engineering (TU/e), PTG/e employees can benefit from an extensive network of specialists/consultants, state-of-the-art equipment and infrastructure. This is an essential condition to stay well informed about the latest developments in plastic products and hybrid materials.
Besides that PTG/e can act as intermediate between you and knowledge institutes in the region, for example the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), the Dutch Polymer Institute (DPI) and Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
Since 2006 PTG/e is a knowledge institute within DPI. Since September of that year PTG/e is also acknowledged by SenterNovem as knowledge institute. This means it is possible to exchange your Innovation Voucher at PTG/e.
Starting 2007 PTG/e plays an active role within the post academic and doctoral education of the National Dutch Graduate school of Polymer Science and Technology (PTN). PTG/e also is preferred partner of the DPI Value Centre since September 2007.
